Vintage Onsie

Cole came home from Mama Rhonda's house last Tuesday in a "vintage" onsie! He's been having major blowouts, causing us to have lots of wardrobe changes throughout the day. Well, evidently I didn't send enough outfits, so Rhonda rummaged through the attic and found Patrick's old baby clothes! She said it was hard to decide exactly which one to put on him, but this cute little thing is what she finally decided on. The picture doesn't do it justice, but you can get the general idea. How cute:)!

Last Friday night we went over to The Rusher's house to cook out. August is such a good cook, so we never pass up an invite:). Here are a few pictures...

Thursday night we went over to The Harrell's house for a pool party with Patrick's work peeps. Two guys that Patrick works with had babies right around the same time we did. Lily was born January 1st and Baby Sam is 3 weeks older than Cole. Here is a picture of all of us together...

2 Month Check Up...

For some reason my pictures are all out of order, but you can figure it out:)! We had Cole's 2 month checkup yesterday. He got his first round of shots:(! It was only 2 shots and they gave him to him at the exact same time, so it was very quick! He cried real tears and yelled really loud for about 2 seconds and then he was over it! Thank goodness!!! I felt horrible for him:(! He weighs 13.5 pounds and is 25 inches long. The doctor said this is above the 97th percentile! His head is in the 90th percentile, but the doctor said he is very well proportioned:)! However...we got called out for our flat head! Ha, ha!!! Since Cole sleeps such long hours at night and is completely obsessed with his swing during the day, we are getting a little flat on back! It's not real noticeable because he has hair to cover it up, but we can NOT be having a flat head! How embarassing:)!!! So...instead of swinging when he is fussy, we have started carrying him around in his Baby Bjorn, and we are going to try to prop him on one side to sleep at night. We'll see how that goes! Other than that, he has some dry skin (maybe due to his nightly baths), so the doctor suggested we use Dove body wash and Curel lotion instead of his normal baby wash and lotion. I don't really like this, because I like him to smell like a baby, but if it helps clear up his little skin then we'll stick with it. He really is getting so big! I went home to see him during my lunch break today, and I swear he had gotten heavier since this morning!!! He is doing LOTS of smiling and cooing, which makes my day! One of my favorite things he does right now is when he is trying to sneeze, but it won't come out, he goes "Oh...Oh...Oooooooooh." It is hard to type out exactly how it sounds, but you know what I'm talking about, don't you? So cute!

Kelly came in town yesterday to visit Cole. Kate, Victoria, Kelly, Katy, Amber and Cy all came to our house to play and then we went to eat dinner at Crabby's! It was good to see all of you. Next time Lucy and Liza need to come:)!

2 Months Old!

Cole was 2 months old yesterday! I can't believe it! It seems like just yesterday I was laid up in the hospital bed with a big ole belly:)! They always say time flies when you're having fun!!!
