Peg and BeBe

My mom and my aunt Brenda came to town Sunday and stayed until today. We are used to having mom come visit, but it was great to spend some time with Brenda! Cole LOVES BeBe!!!

Holding on tight!

We can't seem to get his attention. He is too busy staring at the sunset!

Finally, we get a little grin...

With Peg and Bebe. Checking to make sure his foot is still there!

I love my Peg!

1st Hog Game!

This weekend we took Cole to his first Hog game! It was alot of fun! We started out in our regular seats outside, but it was too hot, sunny, and LOUD for Cole, so we headed to the indoor club seating. That is the PERFECT spot for anyone with kiddos! We just hung out in the A/C and watched the game. Victoria joined us because she said she was melting in her seat:). The game obviously wasn't very good, so at 4th quarter, we headed to the tailgate. Cole was such a trooper! When he got sleepy, I just stuck him in his Baby Bjorn, and he fell straight asleep! I'm mad at myself for not getting better pictures! You can't even tell we are at the game, but oh well! We can't wait until the next game, I promise to get better pictures then! GO HOGS!!!

Lunch with Cy

Last week we met up with Amber and Cy to have lunch. Everytime we get the 2 boys together, it is funnier and funnier! They are really starting to pay attention to each other. I can't wait until they are both walking! They are going to be hilarious!

"Cole, what are you going to have for lunch? I am going to have some Cheerios."

"Don't tell your mom, and I will sneak you a few!"

"This is how you eat them...you just shove them in! Yummy:)!!!"

Baptism

This is a BIG post, for a BIG day!

Cole was baptised on Sunday. What a special day! After mass, we went over to Mimi and Pops for a celebratory brunch! The only catch.....NO ELECTRICITY! We had storms Saturday night (thanks to Ike), and their electricity had gone out. Oh no!!! I was so nerovus, not necessarily for me, but I felt horrible for Rhonda and Jim because I knew they had put so much time and effort into cooking and making sure everything was perfect. Well, once I realized it wasn't phasing them in the least, I decided I wouldn't worry either. Leave it to Jim and Rhonda to pull off a brunch, with 40 people (I know...Patrick's family is as big as mine), with no electricity...NO PROBLEM!

For some reason, these pictures have posted ALL out of order. I don't know why, but it would take too long to do it again, so just bear with me...

The cake that Mimi made. How special!

Peg, Lindsey, and Cole

Cole with Deb (Cole Phillips mom).

For those of you that don't know, Cole was not only named after his dad (Patrick Cole), but he was also named after one of his dad's best friends, Cole Phillips.

Cole was killed in a car accident his junior year of high school, and he will always hold a special place in Patrick's heart.

We definitely feel like Cole is watching over our Cole.

Cole Phillips' birthday was September 14th.

Cole Woodruff was born at 9:14pm, and was baptised on 9/14...coincidence?...HARDLY!

Cole with Bud & Peg. We were so glad Bud and Peg came up for the special day. They wouldn't have missed it for the world!

Sweet Boy!

Jayna, Amber, Cy, Cole, and me. It looks like Cy was wondering why Cole had a "dress" on!

The Godfathers...

Tom is Kyle's Godfather
Mike is Patrick's Godfather
Kyle is Cole's Godfather

Cole with his parents and godparents (Lindsey & Kyle)...

He was not modest in his gown! He loved playing with his feet and flashing his diaper!

Receiving his bib

"Why am I wet?"

Getting dressed in the car. We didn't want to wrinkle the gown in his carseat. That was a lost cause! Oh well, at least we tried...

Family picture before we go into church

Peg and Mimi getting the blue bow tied just right!

The gown Cole wore was 91 years old! Patrick was baptised in it, along with Kyle, Jim, and pretty much the whole rest of the family! How special! My family (The McNeil's) have a family gown that was 90 something years old too, but I wasn't baptised in it, so we decided since Patrick was baptised in this one, Cole would wear it. It was just perfect!

Getting directions...

Cole is baptised!!! Yea:)!!!

This was such a special day! We will remember it forever! We love you, Cole!

Brady and Ryan

Brady and Ryan came in town this weekend for Cole's baptism. We love having them come to visit, and they always have so much fun at Mer Mer and Patrick's house! You can tell by these pictures that Ryan had a little too much fun...

Brady being the sweet big brother that he is, putting bunny ears on Ryan...

Hello My Name Is Trouble...

You can't really see it, but Cole's shirt says "Hello my name is Trouble"! I think he knew what his shirt said, and he was trying to play the role.

Whining with Bud...

Eating mommy's hair...yummy!

Sippy Cup!

Today is Cole's 5 month birthday, so I thought it would be appropriate to celebrate by breaking out the sippy cup:)!!! He LOVED it! He acted like he knew exactly what to do with it. I filled it all the way up with water, and he seriously drank almost half of it!

He had a death grip on it and took it straight to his mouth...

VERY serious!

"Oh yea, I've got this down!"

Savoring the Swing

Since Cole is going to be outgrowing his swing very soon, we are savoring the precious moments spent in it. He isn't obsessed with it like he used to be, but when he is sleepy, he still loves to swing and watch Praise Baby! Here is a picture and video I took last night. The funny thing about the video is that I don't like to talk while I'm recording, because I can't stand the sound of my voice, so my mom was standing behind me clapping, making faces, and jumping up and down (without talking) just to try to get Cole to smile. You can tell by the video that he couldn't decide what was more interesting, my mom or Praise Baby:)!

Rolling...

Cole has MASTERED rolling over (to his right side, at least). I thought I would get a video of him rolling, but he is SO fast, that the second you put him down, he is over!!! Oh well, we got some cute pictures anyway...

Escape Artist

I think Cole may be outgrowing his swing:(! Here are some pictures of him trying his hardest to sneak out the side of it...

Playing In My Crib...

Here are some pictures my mom took this morning of Cole playing in his crib after his nap...

"Say Cheese!"

HOGS

Patrick is probably going to kill me for posting these pictures, but I just had to. Cole showed his team spirit on Saturday by wearing his HOGS outfit. This is another one of "those" outfits that Patrick HATES!!! I think he looks pretty stinkin cute:)!

We went outside to play on a blanket. Cole thought the sun was too bright...

A little tummy time...

"Gimmie those toys!"

Sweet boy!
