Wednesday in Hope

Wednesday in Hope we rode all Bud and Peg's ride-on toys, then went to eat dinner at Mamaw's house.

Cole got a little ticked off that his feet wouldn't reach the pedals on his Big Green Tractor:(.....

Now, that's more like it;).....

Since Mamaw had to have both of her legs amputated, my Aunt Bette and Uncle Bill very graciously agreed to add on a "Mother In Law's" suite to their house. It is the perfect little spot for her! She has always LOVED to be outside and there is a great little porch right off of her bedroom.

This is her little bedroom:)....

There is a great tree in their backyard with a swing hanging from it. The boys loved it!

On our way out the door Cole discovered their cat, Felix. Cole's Uncle Kyle and Aunt Cece recently got a little kitten, so he has become obsessed with cats. Luckily Felix didn't mind the kisses Cole was determined to give.

Tuesday in Hope

We have been busy, busy, bees!!! Yesterday we went to the park, a parade, the fair, and ended the night with Mexican food at Amigo Juan's!

Here are some pics from the park.....

And the parade.....Cole LOVED seeing Elmo;)!

What parade would be complete without a tractor.....

Next up.....THE FAIR!!! Bud rode more rides than any of the kids! He took all 3 boys up the Fun Slide:)!

This picture is really dark, but it is of dad and Cole coming down the slide....

Next I rode the Strawberries with dad and the boys.....

Then the boys rode the motorcycles. Ryan and Cole rode together and Brady was on the motorcycle behind them. Dad was too big for this ride:(.....

Dad and Brady on the Scrambler.....

Last ride of the night, Bumper Cars.....

And we topped the night off at Amigo Juan's:).....

Monday in Hope

We have a busy week planned while we are in Hope! Yesterday morning we went to see Aunt Lindsey at her school. She teaches Special Education at Spring Hill and I have never been to her classroom. We got to see lots of her co-workers and even one of my old teachers from Hope:)!

Last night we went to back to Spring Hill to watch Brady play football! It was so much fun! Cole LOVES watching football, and it made it even better that cousin Brady was on the field;).
Eating popcorn with Bud.....

Brady is #21.....

The Bears won 18-16! Yay, GO BEARS:).....

Cousins

Cole and I are in Hope for the week while our new hardwood floors get sanded and stained. We left Patrick at home with Nana and Papa:(. I guess somebody has to work;)! I told Cole about 1 week ahead of time that we were going, and every morning Brady and Ryan were the first people he asked about! He LOVES his cousins!!! I think the feeling is mutual;)! You should see these 3 boys playing together! I could sit and watch them for hours.....

Razorback Football

We took Cole to the Razorback game with us yesterday. It was a BIG game with Arkansas(#10) playing Alabama (#1). We didn't pull off the win in the end, but it was a great game to watch and we had a blast. The game started at 2:30pm and we got down to the tailgate at about 10:30am! Cole was such a trooper! He took a little cat nap in my arms during the 2nd quarter, but rallied with a game dog, popcorn and coke after half time;)!

We stopped my the Johnson's tailgate first. Here is Patrick and Cole with Phillip.....

Cole and me with Carrie....

They had all kinds of games that Cole loved. His favorite was the ladder golf. He was actually really good at it:)!

Phillip was so sweet to help him play;).....

Next we went by the Plafcan's tailgate to hang out with Cece's family and Jim and Rhonda. Cole was in awe of the Goodyear Blimp! He kept saying "BIG balloon!"
