$87,000 Donation to FSMA

The Miller McNeil Woodruff Foundation is SO excited to announce a donation of $87,000 to Families of SMA (FSMA). This is $1,000 for every day sweet Miller was here with us! Our donation, which has been made possible by all of YOU, will go to support Dr. Brian Kaspar’s Gene Therapy Program that FSMA is funding at Nationwide Children’s Hospital. During the opening weekend of deer season Patrick went and stayed the week at Artex.  Since I was on maternity leave I took advantage of an opportunity to go spend the week in Hope/Hot Springs.  It was so much fun having both babies down there and getting to spend some real quality time with my family and a few old friends:)…..

When we were exiting at Hope I decided to take a pic of the exit sign.  My dad is retiring at the end of March so he and my mom will eventually move to Hot Springs full time.  With that being said, I realized that was probably one of my last trips to Hope.  The picture didn’t really turn out because I was driving and fumbling with my phone at the same time (BAD, I know!), but when I looked back at the picture the thing that stood out to me was Miller!  I unintentionally captured the decal on the back of my car in the rearview mirror!  Sweet boy is always with us:)…..
