Busy Bees...

Sorry I haven't been very good at blogging lately! We have been going non stop!


Last weekend we had the golf tournament at Fayetteville Country Club, and it was a blast! Jason does such a good job putting it together! Cole was exhausted by the time Sunday night came around! We went to the pool on Friday and Saturday, and he was such a trooper! We have a little waterbug on our hands! Friday night was the party at the club, and Saturday night we went to Bordino's for dinner. Whew!!!


Peg is in town now, and we went to see Mama Mia last night with Mimi and the Pilkinton's. It was SO good! Definitely a chick flick, but SOOOO good! My mom was literally waving her hands in the air dancing! I am glad she and Twila were not sitting next to each other, or it would have been even worse! Next time I take mom to the movies I know to sit on the back row:)! Ha, ha!

Splish, Splash

The Rusher's came over for dinner last night, and we decided to put the babies in the pool. They sat in their Bumbo's and had so much fun!

Last night we sat out on the patio and read books. Cole loves to be outside, so we strap him in his stroller and head outside every chance we get...

First Date!

Tuesday night we met the Pilkinton's for Sushi at Fusion 5. Cole and Lucy acknowledged each other for the first time, and really seemed to hit it off!



Here is a video of their first conversation! Lucy has discovered that she can SQUEAL, and it is so funny! Cole was trying to talk back, but he wasn't really interested in her "girl talk"! Sorry, Lucy! Maybe next time:).

First Belly Laugh

This video isn't very good quality, but here is Cole's first belly laugh. He has been sort of giggling for a while now, but this was new. You can hear my mom and Patrick cackling in the background, and Lucy is barking because she is afraid Nick is going to drop Cole, but you can still hear the laugh if you listen real close. Nick, thanks for the entertainment!

Spares & Strikes

We wanted to do something fun today, and it is way too hot to play outside, so we went bowling with August, Kim, and Lily! My skills are kind of rusty! I need to do some practicing before our next tourney:)! August beat all of us by a long shot!

Naked Jaybird

Well, not really, he had a diaper on, but it sure does look like he is naked:)! Lately, Cole has liked sitting in his Bumbo and playing with his friends at the gym. No more laying down like a baby! Unless, of course, he is in his magic swing:)!!!

Okay, how funny is this??? Today Cole wore his "pale is the new tan" hooded gown with his cowboy boot socks, and everytime I look at him I crack up!

3 Months Old

Here are some pics of Cole on his 3 month birthday! He is such a big boy! We decided we would celebrate by letting him play in his Jumperoo for the first time. He loved it!

Sick Baby

Well, you can't really tell by this picture, but this is Cole right when we got home from the doctor on Wednesday. He had been waking up with his left eye matted and it would ooze green gunk all day. We figured it would go away on it's own, but after 2 days we decided to go ahead and see the doctor. The doctor said it was just a small cold in his eye and he gave us some drops to put in it. Cole's friend, Cy, has had eye problems this week too:(! His is something different, but it was just a coincidence that they both had gunky eyes at the same time! It was even the same eye! Cy, we hope you are feeling better:)!!!

4th Of July

We went to my parents lakehouse for the 4th of July. Cole got to play with his cousins and see Bud for the first time in over a month! Bud got some good quality loving in to make up for that lost time:)! We can't wait to see you again!

Last Thursday night we went to The Natural's baseball game. They were supposed to have a big firework show after the game, but major storms blew in, so they had to cancel it:(!
