Things About Cole...

I have never done a post without pictures, but I have to just this one time:). I haven't been very good about documenting things Cole is doing/saying at particular ages:(. He is changing so much lately that I decided I better get to writing before I forget! Hahah!!! I don't know what it is about him being 2 years old, but I feel like he turned into a LITTLE BOY over night:(!!! Here are some of the things he is up to at 2 years old:

* 2 years stats:
28.8 lbs (57%)
35 1/4 inches long (73%)



*Still signs "more" (and says "mo" while he's doing it)



*When he's hungry he comes up to me and says "Mmmmmmm"



* Still LOVES Frog. Actually he is now obsessed with his frog AND "Daddy's Frog". We got him a back up just incase we ever lost the original and he only refers to it as "daddy's frog". He can tell the difference in them from a mile away.



*First thing EVERY morning when we walk into his room he says these 3 things:

1. "shooie" (for obvious reasons, ha)


2. "ISH....Mmmmmm" (meaning he wants to feed his fish)


3. "Uucie??? (while he is smacking kisses in the air, meaning he wants Lucy to come in there and give him a kiss;)!

*Favorite Movie- The Natural! He has the whole thing memorized.

*Favorite Color- definitely yellow! EVERYTHING is "lellow"

*He loves to do "cheers" with his cup;)

*Loves all sports! Baseball is probably his favorite, but he loves to "shoot it" too:)! He has gotten bored with the tee and prefers to play soft toss! He's actually pretty good! He calls football "hutball" because Patrick always says "hut" when he throws it to him.

*LOVES to give kisses. Either on the lips or blown. When he blows you a kiss he immediately points to his own cheek and says "got it". It's hilarious!!! If he thinks you have hurt yourself or that he has hurt you, he will insist on kissing the "boo boo" EXACTLY where it is hurt!

Soft Toss

Cole has gotten really good at baseball. He thinks he is too big for a tee and now prefers soft toss. Lucky for him my mom has had lots of recent practice with Brady and Ryan:).....

Peg got tired, so my aunt Karen ("K.K.") took over.....

I love being on the lake! The azaleas were in bloom last weekend and they looked absolutely beautiful! Here is a picture of my parents lake house from the water.....

My moms brothers and sisters have a lake house 3 doors down from ours. Don't their azaleas look pretty!

Last weekend Cole and I took a road trip! I took off work on Friday and we headed to Texarkana at about 9:30am Friday morning. I was nervous about the 4 1/2 hour drive by ourselves, but I really wanted to see Mamaw. It was so good to see her, and Cole really enjoyed our visit:)! I didn't think Cole would last long in a confined place, not to mention that we had Lucy with us, but we ended up staying for over an hour. We probably could have stayed longer, but we had to get on with the rest of our road trip, a 2 hour drive to Hot Springs. We spent the rest of the weekend being lazy at my parents lake house!

Mamaw kept tickling his belly with his Easter egg glow stick. He thought it was hilarious!

Mamaw also taught him where is dimples are! SO CUTE:).....

Daddy's Softball Game

We have so much fun at Patrick's softball games! Cole likes to take his bat & ball and talk people into playing with him;)! Last week his "suckers" were Cece and this precious 9 year old little girl! Cole loved sitting in the dugout with the big guys! He really felt like he was part of the team! SO cute:)!!! After the game Patrick took him out on the field and let him get a little action!

The Naturals

Last week we took Cole to the Naturals baseball game. To say that this boy LOVES baseball is an understatement! Between the Razorbacks, the Naturals, and his daddy's softball games, we definitely get our "fix" every week!

One of the men in the grounds crew asked Cole to hold his walkie talkie and sunglasses while he went to sweep the field! Cole thought he was pretty cool;).....

Cole's 2nd Birthday!

FINALLY I am getting around to posting Cole's birthday pictures! Last week was super busy at the Woodruff house, so I didn't have time to blog. I caught the wrath from my family this weekend! Sorry, guys;)!!!

We had Cole's party on Saturday, April 10th (his actual birthday)! Since it was the weekend of the Master's we thought a GOLF party was appropriate! I didn't go over the top by any means with the theme. Cole had a hilarious outfit that looked like he was wearing golf shorts and suspenders, we had golf cupcakes, and the party favors were jumbo golf clubs with golf balls. And of course, the invitations were golf themed, but that's about it. Lots of balls and balloons! Lots of food (Patrick grilled hamburgers and hot dogs)! Lot's of friends! SUNSHINE and 70 degree weather! We couldn't have asked for a better day!

Bud and Peg arrived Friday afternoon. I went to go help them unload their car and this is what I found! I think my mom has an obsession! Hahahah!!!

He covered his face when we started singing Happy Birthday! I had no idea he was so shy;)???

Only Kyle would show up in a cowboy hat! He had been turkey hunting that morning, so I thought he had come straight from Artex, oh no, I found out later that he had to run home on his way to the party to pick up his cowboy hat! This was a very strategically planned outfit! Looking GOOD, Kirby Kyle;)!!!!!

What better way to end the day??? Watching the Master's, OF COURSE!!! I was busy cleaning up the house and hadn't heard Cole for a little while, so I started looking for him and he was GLUED to the TV! A man after his daddy (and Bud's) hearts:)!!!
