Cruisin'

Sorry that I've been MIA, but I went on vacation last week. All of the females in my mom's side of the family went on a cruise! My mom, her 4 sisters, 1 cousin, and all of their daughters! There were 14 of us in all!!! We had a BLAST, but I sure did miss my boys (and Lucy:)!!!

I flew to New Orleans last Friday to meet up with everyone. We went to a good dinner and partied on Bourbon Street Friday night, ate beignets for breakfast Saturday morning, then boarded the ship!

The ship set sail at 4:30pm. We sailed all night and all day Sunday. Monday we stopped in Progresso, Tuesday we stopped in Cozumel, Wednesday was a "Fun Day" at sea:), and Thursday I headed home to my boys!

Such a fun vacation!!!!!

ALL ABOARD! We couldn't go to our rooms until 1:30pm, so we had a quick lunch on the Lido Deck. The first of MANY meals!!!!!!!!

At dinner. Because there were so many of us, we had to split into 2 or more tables each night. I wish we would have all sat together, but we tried to switch it up so everyone got to sit with everyone at least once.....

First Fun Day at Sea.....

We didn't book an excursion in Progresso, and had planned to just go to a public beach, until we got cornered by a local and took him up on his offer to go to his "private" beach for just $25/person! All the beer, pina coladas, margaritas, fajitas, guacamole, rice, beans, etc you can eat!!!!! Who could pass up a deal like that??? We ALL 14 loaded up in his mini van.....

It really was surprisingly a nice place. Probably used to be REALLY nice. I have a feeling it was a fancy resort at one time and probably got hit by a hurricane or something and these guys just bought it and started their own business. They were SO nice and waited on us hand and foot!!!
