Halloween

Here are our pictures from Halloween night. We went over to the Carter's to eat spaghetti and help them hand out candy. They always have a bunch of friends over, and they have a TON of trick-or-treaters. We didn't actually take Cole trick-or-treating this year, but he did help hand out some candy.

He passed out before we even got to the party. I guess he needed a power nap for the fun night ahead of him:).....

Coco and McCoy. He must have needed a power nap too! Ha, ha.....

Miss Liza showing her treats! Does she look like a happy camper, or what???

Cole was real interested in Baby Owen.....

Loving the stairs!

Coco and Liza counting Dots;).....

We had such a fun night! Thanks, Kate and Jason for having us over:)!

Grammy

As most of you probably already know, my Grammy passed away last Tuesday. My mom was in town visiting when she got the call that Grammy probably wasn't going to make it through the day, so Cole and I loaded up and headed to Little Rock with mom. The rosary service was Thursday and the funeral was Friday. I enjoyed getting to spend some quality time with my family. At first I felt bad that my mom was up here instead of Hope when she got the call, because we didn't make it before Grammy passed away, but looking back now, I know it happened that way for a reason. If mom hadn't been here, I would have waited to go down for the rosary and funeral, and missed out on all the special memories we made on Tuesday after Grammy passed. My mom is 1 of 7 children, so we have a huge family! Everyone was there, and we "celebrated" Grammy's life. Boy oh boy, do we have some stories! I can guarantee that Grammy was looking down from Heaven with a big smile, appreciating the fact that she went out with a bang!

We miss you Grammy, but we know you are in a better place. A place you have been ready to go to for quite some time now. Save some cake for us;)!

This picture was taken on October 12th.....

This is the night of the Rosary. Cole was in awe of the baptismal font.....

Classic

Our friends that got Cole his pj's from China came to visit this weekend. They have recently moved from China to Michigan and decided to make a spur of the moment trip to Arkansas.

I decided that since Kaley got Cole a "classic" gift from China when he was born, we needed to get her a "classic" All American Girl gift......a denim mini skirt:)!!!

Cole wore his pj's for the occasion, and he couldn't wait to give Kaley her gift.....

Isn't she PRECIOUS!!! She is 8 months old! You would never guess it by how petite she is:).....

She LOVED the bow.......

AND her new denim mini:)......

Last Day in Toddler A

Today was Cole's last day in Toddler A. He will start Toddler B next week, and go from being the big boy in class, back to being the baby! As the letter we got from the school stated, he is ready to move to the next "level of learning"! It makes me sad because he has FINALLY gotten to where he likes school! Not that he hasn't always liked it, drop offs just weren't very fun:(! Now when we pull up to school in the morning, he starts clapping! I hope he still claps next week!!!

Sorry for the poor quality of this picture. Patrick took it with his phone when he dropped him off this morning. Cole had obviously just woken up;).....

The Perfect Pumpkin

We haven't made it to a pumpkin patch yet this year, but I needed some pumpkins to decorate our front porch, so we stopped at a little place right up the road from our house to pick up a few. I let Cole pick out all of them. He especially loved the ones that were the size of little basketballs. You can tell from the picture below that he definitely had a favorite! He wouldn't let go of this particular one:)!

I can't wait to take him to a real pumpkin patch! He is going to LOVE it:)!!!
