Memorial Day Weekend

We spent Memorial Day weekend at my parents lakehouse in Hot Springs. The weather was perfect and we had a wonderful relaxing weekend!

This picture may seem random, but early Saturday morning I saw 2 families of geese swimming in front of our house. There was one family of 3 and another of 7! My dad is 1 of 3 childern and my mom is 1 of 7, so I told my parents that was the Jordan and McNeil families of geese:)! It's hard to see them in this picture, but they were precious!

On the boat watching Brady and Ryan tube. Busy weekends on the lake freak me out, so I went a little overboard and made Cole wear a lifejacket AND floaties! He didn't seem to mind, and I rested a little easier;)!!!

My parents kept Cole in Hope while Patrick and I were in Vegas. We very rarely get to Hope anymore because we are always in Hot Springs. Cole thought the pool was so much fun!

Patrick and I went to Las Vegas last weekend to celebrate our 4 year wedding anniversary. We had so much fun!

Planting Marigolds

Cole made me this little pot at school for Mother's Day. We went to Walmart this weekend and bought some marigold seeds and a watering can so he could plant me some flowers. Cole took planting them very seriously. I have a feeling they may end up getting a little over watered;).....

Mother's Day

We had a very busy Mother's Day weekend! We went to Hot Springs on Friday, spent the night, woke up early Saturday morning and headed to Carlisle for Cece and Kyle's wedding shower, drove back to Hot Springs, had a fish fry with my family, spent the night, then headed to Rogers on Sunday to celebrate with Patrick's family! Very, very busy, but lots of good, fun, quality time with our families! We are so lucky to have such good mommas in our lives:)!

Cole was obviously impressed with Bud's docking skills;)....By the time we got to Rogers my camera battery was dead so I don't have any pictures:(! Jim smoked ribs and we had potato salad, fresh green beans, and Rhonda's famous fried okra! Delicious!!!

Limo Ride

Last weekend we went to the Pagnozzi Grand Slam Banquet. There were 4 couples going from Bentonville/Rogers, so we arranged for a limo to pick us up! We all said we felt like we were going to prom! Hahah!!! This event has an open bar from 6p-12m, so it was worth the $:)! Cole was staying overnight at Jim and Rhonda's, so we thought it would be fun for him to get dropped off in the limo too! I wasn't sure it was "legal" since he wasn't in a car seat and all, but we called and got approval from Jim and Rhonda;)!

August made fast friends with the workers. The girl working the drive thru was our limo drivers daughter! I might have made that up, but I'm pretty sure that's what she said;)!
