We had such a fun Halloween! We started our evening at Nana and Papa’s to take some pictures and visit a few houses in their neighborhood, then we headed over to the Jones’ house to do some trick-or-treating with Cole’s friends. This was the first time in about 8 years that we haven’t gone to Kate and Jason’s house, but now that Cole is actually interested in trick-or-treating, it’s hard to justify the 30 minute drive there and back. We were sad to miss out on the festivities in Fayetteville, but had a blast with our “Benton County Friends”:)!
Cole picked his own costume this year, and after first saying he wanted to be a goose (random, I know!), he settled on Superman. I just knew he would change his mind 500 times before Halloween actually rolled around, so I waited until the very last minute to buy his costume. LESSON LEARNED!!!! I couldn’t find his size ANYWHERE, so I had to pay an arm and a leg to ship it here in time! Our first Halloween event was last Thursday at 6:00pm and it came in the mail on Thursday at about 4:00pm!!! Talk about unnecessary stress!!! I think it would have been cheaper to just by 5 different costumes;)!!!
We just got his school pictures back, and this was one of the poses, so when I told him to smile like he did for his school pictures, THIS is what I got

FLASHBACK: If Miller had been with us, he would have been a monkey, like Cole was 3 years ago. Oh, how I wish that little monkey could have joined in on our fun night, however, I KNOW he was with us in spirit, because his Big Brother told us that Miller was following us and that he was dressed up as "the moon”!!! I can’t think of a better costume for our precious baby boy! I know the Halloween candy in Heaven must be extra sweet
