Check out those big ole eyes:)….
Cole had his first Flag Football session at the YMCA. Such a fun time
….
Sister was too tired to enjoy the fun, and Big Brother was serious about listening to his coach
…..
Patrick and I went to Circle of Life Hospice at Legacy Village’s Hard Hat Party and Tour to check out the new facility tonight. It is going to be SO amazing! I can’t wait to see the finished product. What a blessing it will be to so many families in NWA. Since we were going to be “kid free” for the party, we decided to take advantage and have a date night:). Nana and Papa kept Cole and Mattie. This was my first time to leave Mattie:(. We went to pick her up after dinner, but Cole got to spend the night with Nana & Papa. It was a fun night for everyone!
We have been making every effort to make sure that Cole doesn’t feel neglected during the chaos of having a newborn in the house. Part of that effort has involved a little spoiling and some after school park dates:)…..
It was a busy weekend around our house! Patrick loved being home from work and getting to spend some time with us. He is SUCH a good dad! I know I brag on him all the time, but he seriously could run this ship without me! We are so lucky to have such a good daddy in our lives:)!
Bath time
…..
Bud came back in town to pick Peg up so he got to spend the weekend with us. Mattie was excited to see her Bud
…..
Believe it or not, we hadn’t been to the new Cabela’s yet, so we made a family trip to check it out. Cole loved seeing all of the fish and animals…..
And the biggest thing that happened this weekend is that Cole knocked his tooth out!!! He was in the living room playing catch with his baseball and glove. He would throw the ball up in the air and catch it. Well, the ball went a little left one time and when he dove for it he fell and his mouth caught a table top
. The tooth came straight out, root and al! It was such a clean sweep that it didn’t really even bleed that bad! He was such a trooper! I think momma was more upset than he was
!!! Needless to say, the Tooth Pillow got brought out a little earlier than I had planned…..
His new smile and showing off his tooth. The “modern day tooth fairy” leaves the tooth behind so you can show it to all of your friends
. He requested that the tooth fairy leave him quarters instead of dollar bills so that he could play the “big buck game” at Bariola’s with them. He woke up the next morning and found 18 quarters in his pillow. He thought he hit a real JACKPOT
!!!
Jason Hudson contacted me and offered to do a complimentary newborn session of Miss Mattie! Such a generous offer! We were so excited to get her pictures made and he did a great job:)…..
Cole has recently decided that he LOVES apples! He looks like such a big boy in this pic…..
Our friends, Lindsey & Steven, came by to see us. Steven is an amazing artist and surprised us with this painting of Miller. What a special, special gift!!!
Cole is really into doing his “homework” these days. It’s so fun to watch him learning new things. We LOVE the class he is in this year!
