Hunter and Marcus pulled off a surprise birthday dinner for Ashley and Megan. We all met at the Hinson’s and took a van service to Fayetteville to eat at Bordino’s. It was a fun night, full of good food and great company:)…..
(Patrick met us there, because he had a prior engagement, so he missed out on the “boy picture”. I’m sure he is so say! LOL!!!)
We went to Lily Thompson’s 3rd Birthday. It was a painting party. They had little tables set up on their patio, and all of the kids painted/decorated flower pots. When their flower pots were dry, they planted a flower in them and got to take them home. SUCH a cute idea, however, Cole was NOT interested in painting a flower pot (I hope he gets some motivation before Mother’s Day! LOL!). Instead, he played with the balls in the backyard (go figure!). Needless to say, he accidentally kicked one of the balls over the fence into the neighbors yard. No worries though, SUPER DAD came to the rescue. Did he go over the fence and get the ball, you might ask? NO, he lifted Cole over the fence and had him go fetch his own ball. THANK GOODNESS their weren’t any dogs in the neighbors backyard! That thought slipped Patrick’s mind;). In the end, we got the ball and everyone was safe! Whew…..
We had Cole’s birthday party at Jump Zone. We had it there last year, and he had so much fun that he wanted to have it there again this year;)……

Cole had his very first t-ball game. It is SO much fun to watch them play! We enjoyed soccer and basketball, but nothing has compared to t-ball. Love this little ball player:)…..

Last weekend we went to a cookout at the Schmitz’s house. At the end of the night, the kids decided they wanted to get in the hot tub. Cole had never been in a hot tub before, so he thought he was in heaven;)…..
Mom and Dad’s lake house is SO pretty in the Spring, with the azaleas in bloom!
Bud and Peg got Cole a Purple Martin House for his birthday. This little boy LOVES birds, so he was super excited about the house, and couldn’t wait to put it up…..
Now we just hope that martins will come! They are known to be picky about their living quarters, so I hope we have built them a suitable home

I can’t believe it’s been 4 years since we welcomed this little bundle of joy into our lives. Who knew at that time what a source of strength he was going to be for our family? We are so lucky to have him in our lives, and I thank God everyday for the blessing he has given us in Cole. He is the sweetest, most tender hearted little boy I know…..
He had such a fun birthday. We started the day by stopping at Krispy Kreme on the way to Nana and Papa’s to pick up some donuts, then we all met up at Catfish John’s for lunch, and we ended the night celebrating at Taco Tuesday.

Lunch at Catfish Johns. This is a special place for Cole. Nana & Papa take him at least once a week. John, and all of the girls that work there LOVE Cole, and Cole loves them! They always give him special attention, and they definitely went above and beyond for his birthday. They were SO sweet to get him a card and a present…..

It was a FUN, FUN day!!! We don’t have his 4 year old check up until April 27th, so I’ll wait until then to do stat updates. His party with is friends is on Sunday, so stay tuned for pictures from that.
