Mother's Day

We had a wonderful Mother's Day. Cole made me a special Mother's Day treat when he was at school. A sweet card and a flower bouquet.....

They couldn't get his frog away from him to take the picture, so this is how it turned out. I wouldn't have it any other way. He LOVES his frog!!! That's my baby:)!

The flowers were made out of his traced handprints...

The poem and handprint & footprints on the inside of the card...
My mom, Cole, and me...

Patrick's mom with Kyle and CeCe, opening her present from us. I framed a picture of Cole next to a baby picture of Patrick that looks identical. She loved it!

Grammy's 91st Birthday

Last weekend we headed to Little Rock for Grammy's 91st Birthday!!! It was a beautiful afternoon in the midst of all the rain we had been having.

Cole and Bella playing in the playpen...

Cole was palming the beach ball!

Family prayer before lunch...

Patrick and me with Grammy...

Isn't she cute:)!...

Opening presents with Ana's help.....

Lizzy! This is my parents new puppy! She is PRECIOUS!!! She is a mix between a rat terrior and a jack russell.....

Bud and Cole.....

My nephews, Brady and Ryan. These boys are characters:).....

Bud and his boys................

Reading one of her many cards....

Grammy and my Uncle Kenny...

Kenny recently had hip replacement surgery, so he is supposed to be using a walker. We laughed at Grammy and Kenny posing with their walkers;)!

When it was time to go inside, Grammy started walking towards her carport, the opposite direction of her house. We thought she was confused and told her to go the other way, and she said "No, I want to see how fast I can get to the end of the sidewalk. Time me!!!" So Kenny joined in on the walker race. Grammy won:)!

1st Haircut

Against popular vote (Patrick, Mom, and Rhonda) I got Cole's hair cut. I want to let his hair grow out a bit, but it was turning into somewhat of a mullet. Of course, Taylor is so dang popular that she books up about a year in advance (okay...maybe a little exaggeration, but she is WELL worth the wait!) so I have had the haircut scheduled for a while. By the time the appointment came around, I think Patrick, my mom and Rhonda were all in agreement with me!

He wasn't quite sure what to think at first...

He had bananas in his hair from breakfast so she had to wet it and get them out. NOT so sure about the water bottle...

Mama's lap was calling his name:).....

Checking himself out in the mirror....Lookin' good:)!

When Taylor was finished cutting, she asked me if she could put some product in his hair. I said the same thing I always do to Taylor..."I don't care...Do whatever you think."
Well.......we ended up with a mohawk!!!
HILARIOUS!!!!!
Not feeling good about the new do...

Lights make everything better! This boy LOVES some lights! Wonder where he gets that from;)???

Feeling funky....
.

We haven't sported the mohawk since, but don't put it past us! I think he looks pretty stinkin cute with a mohawk, so one day when we get a wild hair....WATCH OUT:)!!!!!!!!!!!!

Too big for the bouncy...

Cole crawled in the closet the other night and found his old bouncy seat. I had all of his baby toys in the attic, but recently brought the bouncy seat back down for when my friends come over with their babies. Cole definitely remembered how much fun he used to have in it. I think we'll leave the swing in the attic! If not, we may NEVER get him out of it;)!

Toasting

Lindsey Honea came by last week to bring Cole a birthday present. So sweet! She got him a book and a Razorback hoodie. Cole wouldn't sit still long enough to read the book or sport the hoodie, so we got a picture of him and Lindsey toasting:)! You all know how much I love my vino and Cole has decided that wine glasses are pretty neat. I have some plastic wine glasses that I let him pretend to drink out of, and he thinks he is so cool...

We have a problem...

I can't let Cole out of my sight! I turn my head for 2 seconds and he is out the dog door! I was loading the dishwasher the other day while Cole was playing with his fridge magnets. I hadn't heard him jabbering for a little while, so I looked out the kitchen window and this is what I saw.....
