Rodeo Of The Ozarks

Call me redneck, but I think we've found a family tradition! We took Cole to the Rodeo of the Ozarks last week and he absolutely LOVED it!!! I told Patrick Wednesday afternoon that my friend Sarah and her husband were taking Grady to the rodeo and I thought we should take Cole. He acted like it was a horrible idea and then surprised us on Thursday with tickets to the "Buckle Club"!!! Ha, ha!!! For those of you that aren't into rodeo lingo, this is the way to go! We had spaghetti dinner before and our seats were right above the chutes, and most importantly they were covered and had seat backs......

Cole and his daddy.....

Slurpin' good spaghetti dinner:).....
Sitting like a big boy.....

CRACKING UP!!!!!

The Grand Entrance....I seriously thought this might be the only part of the rodeo we would see. I thought Cole would get cranky and tired and we would have to leave early. I was certainly mistaken. I think we have a cowboy on our hands:)!

Love these baby ponies:).....

MEAN BULL!!!! I was trying to talk sweet to this sucker and he was scratching his hoofs in the dirt, like they do before they charge!!!

Cole was serious about watching the bull riding. He would clap as soon as the gate was open.....

and anxiously wait until the next bull rider came out!!!!!

We ran into Mr. Lloyd Phillips, Patrick's High School principal and the winner of the Outland Trophy while playing football at Arkansas. He and Cole were fast friends:).....

A good rodeo will wear a boy out!!!

I can't wait until Cole is old enough to Mutton Bust:)!!!! Ha, ha!!!!!

Frog Takes a Bath

The very first thing we do when we get home from school is strip down, throw our clothes/blankets/Frog in the washing machine, and hop in the tub. On Wednesday, Cole would NOT let go of Frog!!! He has been attached to Frog since he was about 3 months old, but it has gone to a whole new level over the past few months. We have a "back up" frog, but he can't be fooled! I don't know what we'll do if we ever loose him!

Table Rock Lake

Last weekend Cole went to Hot Springs to spend the weekend with Bud and Peg while Patrick and I headed to Table Rock Lake to have some "adult" time and celebrate David Ross' birthday!

Here is Cole loaded up in Peg's car with his cousins.....

The Spencers.....

The Ross', such great hosts:)!!!

Okay, I hesitated to put these pictures on the blog, but they are too funny not to share. It is a tradition at the Ross Lakehouse to sit around the table after dinner and shoot tequila!!!
Here are some single shots of the whole gang taking Patron shots:).....

Our "Dish Dawg".....

Okay, now these are funny!!! We first tried to take a group shot of ALL 5 couples by using Victoria's self timer. After many attempts, we were successful, so I tried to find the self timer on my camera, so I could take one too. I wasn't able to find it, and evidently I found some setting that I didn't know I had!!! The next picture Patrick took, he was like "What in the World is this? Y'all have bunny ears!!?" I thought he had just partaken in too many adult beverages, until I took a look for myself! Who knew I could put ears on people??? Hilarious!!!

I think Kate is about to pee her pants:)....

NOW, the boys.....this was a cluster!

Remembering Michael Jackson;).....
