Mom with 3 of her 4 sisters. Her sister Kathy fought the battle with breast cancer earlier this year and is doing fantastic! She lives in Texarkana and their race was the same day, so we missed her. We thought about her as we walked and I'm sure she did the same. It was her 1st year to wear a "pink" shirt. I think she agrees with mom, that it is an unfortunate thing to have to wear one, but you sure do feel special when you have it on:)!!!

We started the "I'm with Peg" saying at the "PINK party" we threw for mom the weekend before her mastectomy. We all wore PINK, ate PINK food, and gave her PINK gifts! We also burned her bras in the fire pit and all the men in the family shaved their heads;)!!! Her sisters and brothers made buttons for everyone that said "I'm with Peg". We wore them that day, then on the day of her surgery we all wore them in the waiting room.

The guys line the race way to show their support. I loved the sign that said "Big or Small, save them ALL!". Hilarious:).....

My dad with the guys cheering section. Dad has had the same sign for 6 years. When we walked up to him, he was taking a picture with these girls. They said they have had their picture made with him the last 3 years in a row, and they were SO excited to finally meet "Peg"!

I always get a picture of mom on the bridge:).....
The picture is too far away, bu these guys in the water always show their support. They had pink boas on and pink balloons tied to their boats.

Bikers showing their support.....

These firemen caused a MAJOR traffic jam;).....

Here we are at the guys 2nd station. The are always at the beginning of the race, then once we pass them they move so we can see them again:).....
Cowboys roping pink bulls;).....
A bongo band (isn't that what those things are called?).....

I took this picture for Patrick;).....
The yoga men. Always love them:).....
and the belly dancers:).....
Crazy balloon hat;).....
Mom crossing the finish line!!!
Doesn't she look happy:).....
Yay, Peg!!!

Cole and Amelia:).....
Cutie patootie:).....
The whole time we were at the race, Cole thought we were going to a football game. When I woke him up at 5:30am (we drove to LR from Hot Springs the morning of the race) he was NOT a happy camper.....UNTIL he saw that he was going to get to wear his Razorback jersey! When he saw that, he thought we MUST be going to a football game;)! I guess the whole time we were walking, he thought we were tailgating, because once we got back to the car, WITHOUT going to a football game, he was M-A-D!!!!! He refused to get out of his stroller and cried for a while on the way home until he finally fell asleep! Once we hit the drive way at the lake house, his eyes popped open and he said "hutball game???". Mom, Dad and I were all in agreement that we HAD to go find a football game for him to watch. I didn't care if it was pee wee football, the boy was DYING to watch a "hutball" game;)!!! WELL.....we didn't find any football, but we did find soccer, and it seemed to satisfy him a little bit;)!
Here he is watching strangers play soccer;).....
After the soccer game he wanted to go to the park. What Cole wants, Cole gets;).....
He was pretty proud of himself for walking across this bridge;).....
