Happy Anniversary Mimi & Pops

Last week Mimi and Pops celebrated their 36th wedding anniversary! To celebrate, we went to the Promenade and had dinner at Fish City Grill. Peg was in town, so she got to join in on the festivities. After dinner we played around outside. It was such a pretty night.....

Echocardiogram

If you remember, at Cole's 12 month check-up, Dr. Schaffer told us that he has a heart murmur. Heart murmurs are so very common, that we didn't worry much about it, he just told us that he would keep an eye on it. Well, at an appointment for an ear infection, Dr. Schaffer told us that it was noticeably louder and that he wanted to go ahead and have an echo done.

The nurse called us the very next day with GOOD NEWS!!! The results were "normal"! Whatever that means??? I'll take it:)!

Poor little guy had to lay still for an entire HOUR!

I told Patrick that it looks we just gave birth to him! Ha, ha!!!

Mimi was there for moral support (and a quick milk run:)! Thanks, Mimi!!!

Swim Ranch

Look at our little water bug! Cole is an official graduate of Swim Ranch 2009! We had so much fun with Liza, Jason, Cy, and Amber. Cole learned all kinds of new tricks, but the most important thing they teach babies at this age is how to get in and out of the pool. I think he mastered it:)!

Julie and Charlie's Wedding Shower

Last weekend we had a couples wedding shower for Julie and Charlie. It was alot of fun! After the shower, we headed to Dickson Street. You can tell from the pictures that we had a pretty good time:).....

Happy Birthday Matthew!

Matthew Weber's birthday was last Thursday, so last weekend we had a "surprise/impromptu" birthday party for him:)! The Spencer's and Weber's came over and we cooked out. Steaks, hashbrown casserole, baked asparagus, and COOKIE CAKE!!! Makes my mouth water just thinking about it!

Had to get a picture of Owen Weber:)! He will be making his debut in the next couple of weeks!!! I can't wait!

Oops...we had a little temper tantrum:)! It really wasn't that bad, but it cracked me up how he laid completely down on the ground to throw his fit. Wonder where he gets that drama from;)??? Ha, ha!!!

Gotta love the sand box...

John Spencer insisted that Matthew have a candle on his birthday cake, but I didn't have any, so he grabbed one of the candles burning in the living room and stuck it on top of the box.....

It worked;).....

We used left over plates from Cole's birthday, and "customized" them with Matthew's favorite team....

Okay, now this is funny...after a few glasses of wine, I let Amber and Jayna talk me into showing them the video of Cole's birth!!! Don't worry, it's the view from up top, but it is still pretty graphic! Amber wanted to see it because she had a c-section, so she was curious to see just what goes on in the delivery room, and Jayna wanted to watch it so she could prepare for what she's about to go through. Poor thing may wish she had never watched! Ha, ha!!!

This is Patrick explaining to Matthew about how he needs to "coach" Jayna while she is in labor. He is drawing contractions and explaining when you are supposed to count, when she is supposed to breath, etc...

They were both VERY serious about this lesson!

If Matthew happens to pass out or chicken out during birth, I think Patrick would be happy to step in! He OBVIOUSLY knows what he's talking about;)!!! Ha, ha!
