Charlie & Cole

Cole FINALLY got to meet his friend Charlie on Friday night at the Carter's end of summer backyard bash. For those of you that don't know, Charlie and Cole were born on the exact same day, just a few doors down from each other:)! I can't believe it has taken us this long to get the boys together, but I can picture lots of playdates in the future!

Work Hard, Play Hard...

Tuesday night I went to a Natural's baseball game with some of the girls from work. I am so lucky to work with such a fun group of people:)!!!

Look what Lucy came to the front door with! She was so proud of herself! I know it's gross, but I have to say I'm proud of her too! I would rather she catch that nasty thing, than it end up inside our house! Uugh!!!

Razorback Fan Day

The weather last weekend was absolutely beautiful! We tried to spend as much time outside as possible, which Cole LOVED. On Saturday we went to Razorback Fan Day.

Liza going down the big slide. She was so excited, but once she climbed to the top, she freaked out a little bit. I thought Kate might have to climb up there and slide down with her, but she pulled it together and did it all by herself:)! Yay, Liza!!!

Cole didn't want to have anything to do with the mascots or the cheerleaders, so Patrick had to be in all the pictures with him! POOR Patrick! Ha, ha!!!

Any doubt I ever had about buying Cole the playset for his 1st Birthday is gone! Part of me thought that he wouldn't really enjoy it until he was at least 2 or 3 years old! Boy was I wrong! He LOVES everything about it! If he could reach the monkey bars, I think he would even cross them:)!

Hope/Hot Springs

Patrick and I had a super busy weekend last weekend, and we didn't want to get a babysitter 2 nights in a row, so Cole went to Hope/Hot Springs to spend a few nights with Bud & Peg. Mom came up here and spent Tuesday and Wednesday nights with us, then she and Cole headed to Hope on Thursday. They spent Thursday and Friday nights in Hope, and Saturday night in Hot Springs. Sunday I drove down to Hot Springs to scoop him up. Whew...wears me out just thinking about it:)....

In Hope he got to swim in the pool with Bud, Brady, and Ryan....

Lunch on the patio. Trying to feed Peg some of his Kids Cuisine Cheeseburger. Healthy, I know;).....

He loves to rip Peg's earrings out and try to stick them in his own ear.....

Mom's 60th Birthday & 5 Years Cancer FREE

Sorry I have been such a bad blogger lately! We have been busy, busy!!! My mom's 60th birthday was August 7th, and her 5 year anniversary of being cancer FREE was August 9th!!! LOTS to be thankful for!!! We went to Hot Springs for the weekend and celebrated all weekend long:)!!!

We got the cupcakes from Ambrosia, a local bakery in Hot Springs, and I think they were probably the very best cupcakes I have EVER had! 1/2 of them with deocrated with pink ribbons, and 1/2 with 60's.....

The highlight of Patrick's weekend was finding, not one...but TWO, Resistol cowboy hats for $10 at a garage sale!!! He kept one for himself (as you can see in the following pictures), and gave one to Kyle for his birthday.....

This was SOOO funny!!! Ryan wanted to fix Cole's hair, so he went in the bathroom and found a brush AND mirror, and SERIOUSLY worked on Cole's hair for about 30 minutes. He would comb it over and over and then pick the mirror up and show Cole. Cole would actually look in the mirror, as if he thought he looked REAL good;)!
