Dress Up!

Poor Cole, I probably shouldn't even post this, but it just cracks me up! We were having dinner at the Rusher's the other night and the boys left Kim and me with all 3 kiddos while they went to pick up a boat. Well.....let's just say Patrick learned his lesson! I bet he takes Cole with him next time;)!

In Cole's defense, he did NOT want this dress on! I was lucky I was able to get at least 1 picture of him in it, because he was immediately trying to rip it off! Hahahaha.....

Why We Don't Eat Out.....

Eating out is NOT Cole's specialty! In fact, eating in general is not his specialty. At home I literally chase him around shoving bites in here and there, but at restaurants he is pretty much horrible. I hate to say it, but it's true;)! He refuses to sit in his highchair, will only sit in our lap for a short while, and prefers to be down running around the table. And just so you know, I am aware that this is probably all MY fault for not being stricter on this issue in the beginning. Oops!!! On a positive note, I cook almost every night at home, which saves us lots of money:)!

This video is from Sunday night at Las Fajitas. That has to be one of the most kid friendly restaurants in town. They are super fast, and they LOVE babies! Surprisingly, Cole behaved half way decent this particular night, but when it was almost time to go we let him and Lily chase each other around. You can tell there was nobody near us, so we weren't disrupting anyone's dinner. It's a pretty cute video. Cole is ALWAYS trying to sneak a kiss in! Watch out Lily;)!!!!

Sam's Pizza Pub

We went to Hot Springs with the Rusher's this weekend. It was a spur of the moment trip after our girls trip to Kansas City got cancelled. Kim's mom kept their 2 girls and we took Cole with us. Bud and Peg were our babysitters for the weekend. Thanks Bud and Peg:)!!!

Friday night we went to Sam's Pizza Pub. I haven't been there in years! It was just like I remembered. I have pictures to prove it;).....

They put a baby bottle full of frozen water in your pitcher of beer to keep it cold. Genius:).....


It wouldn't be a night at Sam's without dancing with a random! Thanks, Jim;).....

Saturday we went to the horse races. We didn't win any money, but we sure did have a good time! We'll be going back to the races March 13th. Better luck next time:)!!!!!

Shogun

Last night we went to Shogun to celebrate Cece, Patrick and Rhonda's birthdays. Cole hadn't been to Shogun since he was about 6 months old, so I didn't know how he would react. Once the chef showed up to the table, he was thoroughly entertained! I wish they cooked on your table at ALL restaurants!!! Hahaha!!!

Cole's Valentine...Mo-Mo!

Nana got this cute balloon for Cole for Valentine's Day. He was scared of it at first, but now they are best friends:)! Cole calls him Mo-Mo (for monkey)!

Enough with the mushy Valentine's talk, now it's time to act like a BOY:)!!!

Oh yea, and I should probably mention what a MEAN mommy I am! Most kids get candy for Valentine's Day.....Cole got a toothbrush!!! I know, it's mean, but he is obsessed with my Sonicare, and I had finally had enough of sharing my toothbrush with him, so I got him a Sonicare for KIDS!!! He was SO excited when he opened it and he couldn't wait to use it! I know it's cruel, but he doesn't know the difference;)! He'll be thanking me one day when he has pearly whites! Hahahah!!!

Hayden's 3rd Birthday Party

Sunday afternoon we went to Hayden's 3rd Birthday Party. It was at Little Gym, and it was so fun! That was Cole's first time to go there, so I wasn't sure what he would think, but he loved it! He even knew how to stand in line and wait his turn:)!

Walking on the blow up bouncy thing. It was time for them to deflate it so they asked all of the kids to lay down flat on their backs. Cole didn't quite understand, so he had to have some direction from daddy;).....

Maggie's 1st Birthday

Saturday afternoon we went to Maggie Rusher's 1st Birthday! Her sister Lily turned 2 last month, so there has been lots of partying at the Rusher house lately:)!!!

Patrick's birthday was Tuesday, February 9th.

I surprised him at work with a cookie cake.....

We had birthday dinner at Nana and Baba's that night. Cole got to help the birthday boy blow out his candles:).....

Visit To South Arkansas

Cole and I went to Hope/Hot Springs this weekend. We spent Friday night in Hope and went to Hot Springs on Saturday. Friday night we drove over to Texarkana to see my Mamaw. She has been in the hospital since the week before Christmas and she had to have her leg amputated last week:(! They took it off below the knee, so we are very hopeful she will have a successful stay in rehab and get a prosthetic really soon! Please pray for her spirits and a quick recovery!

While we were in Hot Springs we made a visit to PetCo. Why have I never taken Cole there before??? He absolutely LOVED it!!! We will definitely be making regular visits from now on;)!

and of course the puppies up for adoption! This broke my heart! I seriously wanted to take every single puppy home with us!
