Cowen Eide’s Birthday Party

After the basketball game on Saturday, we headed back to Rogers to go to Cowen’s 3rd Birthday Party.  Patrick graduated with Cowen’s mommy, Lauren, so they’ve always been friends, but since Miller’s diagnosis/passing we have become SO much closer. Cowen’s twin sister, Lilly Kate, is in Heaven with Miller, so now our families have a special bond.  Notice the “lilies” on the table.  Our friend, Emily, brought them to Lauren.  Emily’s baby girl, Corinne, is in heaven too.  It’s so sad to think that of the 9 families that were there, 3 of us have lost babies:(.  As depressing as that is, it’s thoughts like that that make BIRTHDAY PARTIES even more special!!!  What a blessing to get to celebrate another year!  Happy Birthday Cowen!!!  You are definitely an angel with a “golden glow”!  You are a very special little boy, and Lilly Kate will forever be a part of you!
