Gear

Babies require lots of gear! We spent the last weeks of my pregnancy cleaning all of Cole's old baby gear, getting ready for Miller's arrival. Little did we know, this was the kind of "gear" we would be needing:

Feeding tube equipment.....

Pulse Ox machine. I made sure his saturation was good before I took the picture;)! His pulse rate was a little high, but his O2 was at 100%:).....

Oxygen machines. This is a concentrator that filters the room air. We have one in the living room, and one in our bedroom. Boy do these puppies put off some heat!!!

Rolling oxygen tank. We keep one of these in our car, just incase our travel tanks ever runs out.

Lovely suction machine. It looks like a torture chamber, but he doesn't really mind it because it makes him feel so much better! Our first few weeks back at home we didn't have to use this very much, but in the last week or so he has been requiring it:(.

His car bed. His little head would flop forward in his regular car seat, so FSMA (Families of SMA) sent us this. It looks like a moses basket. It's not the most secure thing in the world, but it's better than the alternative. We really appreciate FSMA for supplying it:)!

Travel O2 tank. These things are so handy. They only last for a few hours, but our outings aren't usually very lengthy anyway;).....
