A Family Affair…..

My parents came to town this weekend.  We spent Friday night at our house, then Saturday morning we headed to our place in Missouri.  Patrick’s parents met us there, and it was just the 7 of us.  It was so nice to get away for a bit!  When I’m at home, no matter how empty our “social calendar” is, I constantly feel like I need to be doing something…..laundry, dishes, cleaning closets, etc.  At Spring Lakes, we don’t even have cell phone service, so we are literally cut off from the outside world.  It’s a really good feeling every now and then! 

Cole was a little disappointed that the paddle boat was full of water.  We turned it upside down to drain it, so hopefully next time it will be good to go…..
