One Year Ago: Last Night at Home

Last Night At Home

These pictures are from Miller's last night at home. We had been to his pulmonologist appointment earlier this day and got the bad news that she didn't think Miller had much longer to live. We had no idea how little she meant. Look how content and alert he is:).....

Little frog legs…..

He LOVED sleeping on his belly. Because of his condition, he could breathe easier that way.....

THIS is where he would end up EVERY night at some point:).....

The next day is when we decided we needed to take him to the hospice house. Here we are rocking him in his nursery for the very last time.....

hi. it's me. just thinkin about this time last year....we had come by the hospice house. everybody was eating fried chicken ;) and we sat outside on the porch. patrick was inside with miller on his chest and we all filed back in to say our goodbyes to the sweetest little child. i'll never forget it. you all stayed so strong. we all went out to the front and had our tear filled embraces. and then we had that good WEASER moment. ;) lol!
mer, remember how someone out there was up praying for miller every second that night? "i'm with miller" echoed on facebook ALL NIGHT long... up through his last breaths as his momma held him.
we are still with miller. each second of every day. love ya'll and proud of you every second of every day.
